Due to the traditionally low alcohol content of liqueurs the TTB requires the serving size to reflect 2.5 ounces  vs. a typical 1.5 ounce serving for most products. Most of our drink recipes call for 1-1.5 ounces.

Allulose is technically a sugar, but it doesn’t behave like a normal carbohydrate. It does not metabolize in your body, which is why it’s so low in calories. About 90% of the allulose you consume gets absorbed through your small intestine and excreted through urine.

When calculating net carbs, allulose is subtracted from total carbohydrates because it is not metabolized and therefore causes no increase in blood glucose or blood insulin levels (International Food Information Council).

Allulose is a natural keto-friendly sweetener. It won’t affect ketosis, trigger inflammation, or spike blood sugar because our bodies don’t digest it. With zero net grams of carbs.

Zero, Allulose has a GI score of 0. This means that it has no impact on blood sugar. In fact, allulose actually has anti-diabetic properties that help to keep blood sugar lower, and has been shown to have no negative health effects.

The way our products are formulated, they will never actually spoil due to microbiological growth. We recommend consuming within 6 months of purchase for the freshest experience.
